Every year, on December 18, PPM laboratories mark the anniversary of the creation by Dr. Kok Sok Kim of the painkiller Kinal, the first drug developed and manufactured in Cambodia and the first step in the kingdom’s independence on the pharmaceutical plan and on the innovation plan for the production of modern medicines.
PPM Laboratories, upon their inception in 1996, resumed production of Kinal to mark the beginning of the renaissance of the pharmaceutical industry after decades of war and destruction.
Kinal has now grown into a flagship brand that offers a full line of products to treat all forms of pain.
This continuous spirit of development allows PPM Laboratories to permanently place on the national and international market new drugs suitable for the treatment of all forms of pathologies with a constant concern: to produce drugs of international quality accessible to all patients, including more deprived. Thanks to their know-how, PPM Laboratories also promote traditional Khmer medicine by orienting it towards modern, scientific medicine as with KEM Probiotics, KIRUM herbal Tea, Morinda citrifolia, orthosiphon, miringa or black Ginger etc …
This idea of continuous innovation is shared with Confirel, PPM sister company, created in 2001 to showcase the riches of Cambodian terroirs through premium products, rich in taste and good for health since they are organic.
Combining traditional know-how, innovation and rural development around, among other things, the sugar palm tree, this is the secret of Confirel which allows it to offer a hundred products derived from raw materials from the terroirs of Cambodia.
This patience and perseverance that have driven Confirel for more than 20 years have just been consecrated by the obtaining on December 11, 2021 of the first prize in the national competition for entrepreneurship in Cambodia organized under the sponsorship of several ministries. special-newsletter-ppm-confirel-depomex-decembre-2021
Finally, PPM and Confirel have a common vision: to enable Cambodia to ensure its health and food independence through universal access to medicines and food products of international quality; participate in the economic development of our country by emphasizing innovation so that Cambodian products are competitive on the world market.
